About

AI accelerates the build. I own the delivery.

I turn founder requirements into a clear scope, then use AI agents to accelerate the build. Technical decisions and delivery stay with me.I turn founder requirements into a clear scope, then use AI agents to accelerate the build. Technical decisions and delivery stay with me.

Less coordination on your plate.

Work through requirements and technical limits with the person building the software. I help turn the business need into an implementable scope.

Hands-on work. Team-level responsibility.

I’ve handled internal and customer-facing software, led teams and coordinated delivery. At Qorvia Technologies, that includes scopes, technical documents and internal teams.

You stay close to the decisions. I stay close to the work.

Read the case study

My role

Worked alongside the Softobotics team as additional development capacity, contributing to backend integrations and the embedded TypeScript checkout.

The need

Coordinate credit checks, loan origination, repayments and customer records across separate lending, payment and CRM systems.

What I built

  • Implemented Node.js middleware integrating Apache Fineract with Stripe, plus a TypeScript checkout widget embedded in the merchant site.
  • Implemented automated collections, four repayment paths and cancellation refunds, with SQS-backed CRM updates.
  • Applied refund idempotency to repeated webhook deliveries and serialized CRM writes to prevent competing record updates.

What it enabled

An integrated loan lifecycle spanning origination, disbursement, repayment and collections, with payment events connected to CRM updates.

Serverless short-form video backend

Serverless video ingestion and HLS transcoding with direct-to-S3 uploads, SQS processing and CloudFront delivery.

Node.jsLambdaDynamoDBS3SQSCloudFrontFFmpeg
Read the case study

My role

Designed the backend APIs, video-processing pipeline, social features and notification services.

The need

Support mobile video uploads, adaptive streaming and social interactions without operating always-on application servers.

What I built

  • Separated media ingestion from transcoding using direct-to-S3 uploads and SQS, keeping heavy processing outside the upload-confirmation flow.
  • Executed FFmpeg in AWS Lambda to generate 1080p, 720p, 480p and 360p HLS renditions, delivered through CloudFront.
  • Implemented API endpoints for feeds, follows, likes, comments, bookmarks and guest access.

What it enabled

A serverless media backend producing four HLS renditions per upload, with CDN distribution and APIs for the app’s social features.

Background

I started on the other side of the brief.

Founder first.
Engineer by practice.

Running my own ventures taught me to ask what a feature needs to achieve before deciding how to build it.

  1. 2019–22

    Founder first

Built and ran three ventures while completing my bachelor’s degree.

Books, local art and mealsWebsites, acquisition and operations sat with me.
  2. 2022–24

    From ventures to client work

Completed my master’s degree while building an independent client practice.

Agencies → larger engagementsStarted with white-label delivery, then took on larger projects.
  3. 2024

    Engineering inside a team

Joined a company as a full-time developer and continued product consulting.

Engineering + consultingWorked inside a team while continuing to deliver for clients.
  4. Today

    An independent practice

Work directly with US startups and agencies, with a team behind the delivery.

One accountable ownerCost, acquisition and return come before code.
The longer version

I began as a founder. Between 2019 and 2022, while completing my bachelor's degree, I built and ran three businesses: a second-hand book store, a marketplace for local artists and a meal service. I handled the websites, search, paid acquisition and operations myself. The first two taught me about margins. The meal service grew well on paid advertising before closing in 2022.

From 2022 to 2024 I completed my master's degree while building a client practice, beginning with white-label work for agencies and moving to larger engagements. In 2024 I joined a company as a full-time developer and continued consulting on product development.

Today I work independently with US startups and agencies. That history is why I think about cost, acquisition and return before I think about code.

Method

A clear path from scope to delivery.

Step 1

Discuss

Show me where the product stands and what is blocking progress. We agree what is worth tackling first.

Step 2

20-hour engagement

Before starting, we agree the scope, price, timing and how the work will be reviewed.

Step 3

Build

Review progress at agreed checkpoints. If priorities or technical constraints change, we discuss the trade-offs before changing scope.

Step 4

Handover

We agree the handover upfront, including the delivered code, setup notes and any access or deployment details the work requires.

Start with a defined piece of work.

The first engagement is 20 paid hours focused on an agreed priority. Before work begins, we confirm the price, scope, calendar dates and review criteria. Twenty hours is an effort limit—not a promise to finish any size of project. You review the work before deciding whether to continue, and keep what has been delivered.Start with 20 paid hours on an agreed priority. We confirm the price, scope, dates and review criteria first. You keep the delivered work and choose whether to continue.

Discuss a 20-hour startDiscuss a paid start
Questions

Before we talk.

Do you work alone?

I lead the engineering work. When a project needs design or additional capacity, we discuss that support and the responsibilities involved.

Who have you worked with?

I’ve delivered 30+ projects for 15+ clients across Colombia, the United States, France, Australia and India, including work through three white-label partnerships. All my enterprise engagements are under NDA, so I describe the work without publishing client identities.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We can put an NDA in place before discussing sensitive project details.

What if the 20-hour engagement isn't a fit?

There is no automatic commitment to a larger engagement. You keep the work delivered during the paid start, and we discuss any further work separately.

Do you take white-label work?

Yes: your brand, your client, my delivery.
